In acknowledgment of 100 years as an educational institution, Fort Lewis College and the Center of Southwest Studies presented a major exhibition honoring the heritage of the College. Organized into three sections, the exhibition focused on distinct chapters of Fort Lewis history: the military fort period (1878–1891), the Fort Lewis Indian School era (1891–1911), and Fort Lewis A&M (1911–1956).
