The Center of Southwest Studies is located on the Fort Lewis College campus in Durango, Colorado.
From Highway 160 West (Cortez) or Highway 160 East (Bayfield)
- Head NORTH on HWY 550 (Camino Del Rio)
- Take a RIGHT (EAST) at College Drive/6th Street (stoplight)
- Continue straight on College Drive, which turns into Goeglein Gulch Road
- Go through roundabout and exit WEST onto Fort Lewis Drive
- Take the next LEFT and first RIGHT and the center is straight ahead
From Highway 550 North (Silverton)
- Take Highway 550 SOUTH until you get to the intersection of Highway 550 (Camino del Rio) and Main Avenue (just past Burger King)
- Veer RIGHT onto Camino del Rio (Highway 550)
- Turn LEFT on College Drive/6th Street (second stoplight)
- Continue straight on College Drive, which turns into Goeglein Gulch Road
- Go through roundabout and exit WEST onto Fort Lewis Drive
- Take the next LEFT and first RIGHT and the center is straight ahead
