Presence within Abandonment: Photography, Archaeology, and Western Historic Sites

May 20 - October 24, 2004

Thursday, May 20, 2004

This exhibition featured photography by Thomas Carr.

“Thomas Carr not only takes photos of Western historic sites, he conceptualizes them under the idea of abandonment,” Curator of Collections and Public Programs Jeanne Brako said. “He’s able to intellectualize about what he’s seeing that’s not there, and that is very unique.”
