Steve Friesen will share the timeline of William F. "Buffalo Bill" Cody's life and legacy, illuminated by stories, historic photographs and artifacts. It's will include Buffalo Bill's Colorado connections, his relationship with the Lakota people, and his life as a "foodie," all three of which are relatively unexplored, unknown... and surprising!

This is the 2020 Duane Smith Lecture in Southwest Studies.
