Equipment Use Policy

This policy pertains to the use of digital recorders and other related equipment belonging to the Center of Southwest Studies.

Equipment will be made available for faculty, staff, approved students, and researchers at Fort Lewis College whose use of the equipment benefits their studies of the Greater Southwest and is central to the mission of the Center of Southwest Studies. It is hoped that products of that research, i.e. photographs, oral histories, etc., will be donated to the Center of Southwest Studies.

Center of Southwest Studies equipment is limited and priority use is given to Center of Southwest Studies staff for Center tasks. Equipment is available on a first come, first served basis and can be requested back at any time. Please refer to the Loan Policy for check-out periods, requirements, and procedures.

Photo I.D. will be required to check out equipment. Any loss or damage to equipment will be charged to the individual who checked it out.
