Object-based learning is a student-centered teaching approach that uses material objects such as artwork, natural history specimens, archaeological and historical objects, and archival documents to promote learning. The Center’s Teaching Fellows Program encourages the development of object-based curricular initiatives, and the opportunity is open to faculty at Fort Lewis College as well as educators across the Four Corners Region.
