Using primary documents from FLC's Center of Southwest Studies, Archive Manager Nik Kendziorski will examine Hall’s role in the 1925 establishment of the National Park Service's education division and particularly his leadership of the 1933-38 Rainbow Bridge-Monument Valley Expeditions, which were privately funded at the height of the Great Depression. These journeys brought various academic areas of study into one great interdisciplinary endeavor.
