Notes: | Photo of two Tohono O'Odham men working on the process of making charcoal. One man is holding a shovel and working near a pile of dirt while another man in the background is carrying a large mesquite log. A pile of mesquite logs is located in the upper right part of the image. A jeep can be seen parked behind the man carrying the log. This project is to make charcoal from mesquite commercially and was a community enterprise. |
