Notes: A hogan constructed of wood logs and dirt compacted over the logs. Not uncommon in those areas of the Navajo Reservation that were denuded of vegetation by overgrazing during the drought and depression of the 1930s. Matboard dimensions are 14" x 11". Negative is 4 x 5". Print is dated 1940; negative sleeve was dated 1939.
