Notes: Typical of many hogans built during the 1930s in the nearly treeless area of Western Navajo country (in Arizona). The hogan is constructed of stone with a compacted dirt roof and a chimney coming up through the center of the roof. Matboard dimensions are 14" x 11". Negative is 4 x 5".
