includes notes re: discoveries, shows locations of Indians (Pays des Illinois,
Pays des Iroquois, Terre des Esquimaux, et al.), communities in the Southwest
and along the Atlantic Coast, and some of the American colonies, mentions the
legendary Quivara (an alternative name for southwestern North America), and
shows California as a peninsula and Greenland also as a peninsula, designated
in two parts, North and South Greenland.
Shows Canada as Nouveau France. Conical
projection.
