Professor Hetzel remarked concerning this photo, "Sombrero, he was old enough to remember Geronimo. And here the boy stands with him, playing with a jet plane. In three generations, quite a contrast!" As president of the Mescalero Apache Nation and the National Congress of American Indians, Wendell Chino strengthened his people's self-determination. |
