Notes: A Navajo woman with striped blanket wrapped around her and holding a baby bundled in a wooden cradleboard. Matboard dimensions are 20" x 16". Negative is 4 x 5". Print is dated 1939 (also on back of matboard), as was the negative sleeve. As noted on both the back of the matboard and on the original negative envelope, this won Honorable Mention at the Northern Arizona Society of Art and Science photograph exhibition.
