The CSWS Museum and Gallery

Red, black and white, Native American RugThe Center of Southwest Studies Museum collections include The Durango Collection® of Navajo, Puebloan and Hispano textiles, plus baskets, beadwork, pottery, sculpture, and paintings. The Center also holds historic artifacts and artwork representative of the Southwest region and Fort Lewis College history.

These items are available for research, although access is limited by staffing restraints. To make a request and/or set an appointment please contact the Museum with as much advanced notice as possible.

Searching Our Collections
In the future, we will have digital images of museum artifacts available to view on our website. In the meantime, our Digital Collections page contains some images from CSWS Museum collections.
