Archival Finding Aids

Finding aids provide detailed information about collections of papers or records. Most finding aids include a collection summary; a history or biography of the creator; a list of subjects; a description of the size, composition, and organization of the collection; and a list of containers (boxes, folders) and their contents.

Please note: there are gaps in the list of finding aids because we have not completed full inventories for all of our collections.
Many of the archival holdings are cataloged at the collection level in the Library Catalog.

After conducting a keyword search in the catalog, choose "Narrow Your Results" in the left-hand menu to select the item format (Manuscript, Map, Photo, etc.).
