Author: Tuthill, Gail/Tuesday, January 31, 2017/Categories: Current Exhibits

In 2018, we’re displaying Campbell’s personal collection of beadwork. Ben Nighthorse Campbell: Becoming Cheyenne looks at Campbell’s quest to find his roots and research his family history. His collection of beaded clothing and adornments embodies his ancestors and their knowledge, as well as the spirit of the maker, and the preservation of cultural identity.

Plans are in the works to highlight other key themes of this Renaissance Man in the coming years, including his experience as a judo champion and his life as a rancher raising champion quarter horses.
