The 2019 Duane Smith Lecture in Southwest Studies will feature Dr. Jared Orsi, professor of history at Colorado State University. Dr. Orsi specializes in environmental and borderlands history. He'll present on the life of Zebulon Pike, based on his book Citizen Explorer (Oxford, 2014).
