Exhibition Gallery Hours

Robert Delaney Southwest Research Library Hours

Advance notification to use our special collections is very appreciated. If you anticipate using collections other than our non-circulating book collection, please contact the Archives Manager ahead of time to schedule your visit and to allow time for our staff to locate the records you would like to see. We will try to accommodate your research needs if you schedule ahead. Feel free to contact the Reference Librarian for help with researching books, periodicals and special subjects.



Directions

Driving
The Center is at an elevation of 6,871.48 feet and is adjacent to the Fort Lewis College Community Concert Hall at the north end of campus. Driving directions from downtown Durango are as follows:

• Head east (up the hill) on College Dr.
• College Dr. becomes County Rd-238/Geoglein Gulch Rd.; continue up the hill.
• Turn left (at traffic circle) onto Fort Lewis Dr.
• Turn at the first left onto 8th Ave.
• Turn right at the first driveway; the Center is in front of you behind the mountain lion statue.

Public Transportation
Durango Transit Fort Lewis College is on Route 2 of Durango Transit. The cost is $1 for the general public; please contact Durango Transit for more information about schedules and fares.

Cyclists
There are bike racks directly in front of the Center's main entrance. snow covered bike rack

Parking

Parking is free during the Summer months.

Permits are required for parking anywhere on campus Monday through Friday from 8am until 5pm during the Fall and Winter semesters. You may obtain a day pass from the Police and Parking Services Deptartment, Room 534 in Berndt Hall. Permits are also dispensed from the yellow permit machines located in Lot D (north of the football stadium), and Lot L (downhill from Noble and Sage Halls, south of the Center). The cost is $.50 for one hour, $1 for two hours, or $2 for a full day.

There are several metered spaces along the the north wall of the Center that are $.50 for one hour, as well as two handicapped-accessible spaces.
