Abstract:
Flotation
is a method of mineral separation in which froth is formed in water by
a
variety of reagents which traps some finely minerals while other minerals
sink. Costs of energy are important controls to
improve the overall efficiency
of the
process. The report discusses factors
leading to improvement of the
performance
of existing conventional flotation equipment and/or development of
new
concepts.
