Administrative information

About the organization of this collection:  This collection is arranged in a single series that is grouped by a geographical region, then within that, by date.  The categories are:
1.    Durango and vicinity (in boxes 1 and 2)
2.    Silverton and San Juan Mountains (in box 3)
3.    Miscellaneous southwest Colorado mining towns (in box 4)
4.    Mesa Verde National Park and related archaeological sites (in boxes 5 and 6)
3.    The greater Southwest region (in boxes 7 and 8)
4.    Oversize items (in box 9 and in map case drawer 3.33)

Acquisition of this collection:  This collection was a gift from Nina Heald Webber to the Center of Southwest Studies (multiple accessions from 2002 to recently).  The initial bulk of the collection was appraised on November 1, 2004 by Dr. David Farmer.

Processing information:  Elizabeth deJong, archival student assistant at the Center, produced the folder list in October 2007.  Todd Ellison, Certified Archivist, Center of Southwest Studies, produced item level descriptions, archivally re-housed the photographs, and produced this guide to the collection in October of 2007.
