Notes: This photo shows a Navajo mother and her children. L to R Jane Werito Yazzie (she was married in the Navajo traditional way to a man named Alfred Yazzie Sr. from Kinbeto, New Mexico) she is holding her first born son, Alfred Yazzie Jr., Louise Werito sits with her son and her other son is standing. Louise and Jane are wearing Navajo styled clothing, the velvet shirts are adorned with silver buttons and they wear cotton broomstick style skirts. The children wear modem clothing.

This photo was loaned to the Center by Venaya J. Yazzie and her grandmother Jane Werito Yazzie for digitization in February, 2007.
