| Notes: | This photograph was taken in Ignacio, Colorado, at the Bureau of Indian Affairs Indian Boarding School during a parent visit. Pictured from left to right are a cousin, Jane Werito (student) and Louise Begay Werito (mother of the student). Jane is approximately 7 to 8 years old. She entered the boarding school when she had just turned five years old, so this would be her second or third year there. |
