As of March 2007, the Durango campus comprised facilities of over 1,089,952 square feet on approximately 266 acres, with a current student enrollment of 3,800 (source: Director of Physical Plant Services job announcement, 3/23/2007).

Hunter, architect (Boulder, Colorado) was the campus planning consultant and architect for the design of the early buildings of the Durango campus. See also Series 4.4. Historical note: this planning actually began as early as 1950.
