Historical note

Fort Lewis College  History/Southwest Studies Department faculty member Duane Smith, one of the founders and board members of the Society, donated his set of copies of these records to the Center to build this collection over time.  This collection is the Center of Southwest Studies' accession x2002:03065.

Center of Southwest Studies Archivist Todd Ellison and student archival assistant Susana Jones Gray arranged and described the collection in October of 2004.  Student archival assistant Michael Gartley produced the folder list on Oct. 21, 2004.
