Title:

Man kneeling behind a large object
Date/circa:  1939/1949
Photographer: Ellison, Eddie Boyden (Santa Fe, N.M.)
Subjects: Archaeological sites--New Mexico;
Notes: Image of a man kneeling behind what appears to be a large rock. However, the object in front of him may also be a plaster casing protecting an object that was just dug up in an archaeological dig. The man is wearing a straw hat, a shirt with its sleeves rolled up to his elbows and has his left hand resting on the "rock" in front of him. This negative was in Drawer 1 labeled "Indians." This is negative 2 of 10 in original sleeve.
Negative#:  12342

This photo is part of the Ellison family collection, donated to the Center by Gary Ellison, son of Betty D. and Edward H. "Rocky" Ellison and grandson of Eddie Boyden Ellison.
