Hidden Inn at the Garden of the Gods

Notes: Image of the Hidden Inn in the Garden of the Gods. There are four cars parked out front of the building with a gentleman standing in the doorway of the building. There are also three people visible near the top of the building looking out from what is called the observation tower. A sign above the entrance says "Hidden Inn" while a sign in front of the building states, "Free Observation Tower." Vertical slabs of rock can be seen around the building.The City of Colorado Springs built the Hidden Inn in 1914 for $7,500 and leased it to a man named Carl Balcomb. In 1998 the building was removed. Original sleeve stated, "Card Negative". Image in Drawer 1 labeled "Indians" This is first image of drawer 1. Negative 1 of 2 in original sleeve.
