Notes: "In a morada (house of worship) . At one side stands a member of the cult, with a flogging whip in his hand. Circular candelabra at upper right and left are of bright tin. Statues on altar are of Santes of cult. Cross and statues are of carved wood."The investigation [of this cult, Blackington noted] led the magazine writer, Carl Taylor, to his death at Albuquerque." "The altar cloth is of wool, over 200 yrs old. The woven designs show history or procession from temple to crucifixion."
